About This Project

The designers creating the interior renovation of the Big 12 headquarters came directly to us to craft the Conference’s custom solid surface reception desk. Meant to direct the visitors’ eyes as they entered the space, this commanding piece of furniture communicates presence in every line and design decision.

This original piece was engineered and fabricated by our team to help it fit the lobby space and, using our craftsmanship with solid surface fabrication, better carry the conference’s brand throughout the entirety of the Big 12 headquarters. The entirely solid surface desk features an illuminated logo set into white and gray thermoformed solid surface with a covered glass top. The inlaid logo has tracery of another layer of gray with the white to not only make it stand out but also — and more importantly — to replicate the Big 12 logo exactly on the desk.

Fabricated in our Kansas City shop, this custom solid surface desk was shipped to its Texas home in a few pieces and assembled onsite by our expert team.
